Those are some nice guitars! I've never heard any Reinhardt amps in person. It would be interesting to hear your description of the 18 head - how does it sound?

The Reinhardt 18 is basically in the Marshall Plexi realm. It's a typical old school, point-to-point wired, tube amp. From an operational standpoint, just dime it and run the volume from the guitar. It'll go from clean to crunch with just a simple twist of the guitars volume control.

It's LOUD, and with the "dime and go" theory in mind, you can see the logic in the 18 watt platform.

The first channel, or "normal" channel is based on the stock amp, nice chimey cleans to a killer smokey blues. Great feel and dynamics.
The second channel or "bright" channel is the hotrodded channel. This channel has had the tremolo removed, and another gain stage and full range EQ added in its place. With a master volume on this channel, it can go from amazing chimey clean to nice crunchy gritty blues, to a killer classic and hard rock tone. No over the top heavy muddy gain here, but a killer hot plexi level.
